Tehran is home to many religious and holy places. In addition, Tehran is home to many mosques, famous religious sites and places and also existence of 36 mausoleums which many people welcome such places everyday.
Tehran city is home to over 6,785,845 people in 1995, as large as 864 square kilometers. The city has been classified and divided into 22 districts with the aim of meeting requirements of people coupled with better administration of city.
