Tehran Metro Line:

Exploiting parts of lines 1, 2 and 5 of Tehran metro line started from 1999 to 2001, tasked with commuting or transporting inner-city and intercity passengers (Tehran – Karaj).
Tehran metro line is defined to complex of Tehran urban railways and also Tehran and Suburban Railway Company (TUSRC).
These trains are transiting and offering quality transport services at three main lines of metro as of summer (June 2007).
Construction operation of two other metro lines is underway. One of metro lines is offering quality intercity transport services on Tehran – Karaj while the rest are offering inner-city transport services.
The distance of used metro line in Tehran up by 2006 stood at 90 km at large.
Upon increase of passengers and also number of trains, Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Company delegated some of its authority to other company entitled "Tehran Urban and Suburban Exploitation Company". |
